The development process is what drives the success of the project. We operate with an agile methodology and utilize tools and processes to enable frequent, incremental delivery. The development is built around metrics and understanding exactly where in the pipeline you are. You have multiple interaction points to be able to influence the direction and outcomes. We have identified some functional requirements to initiate the project. We begin executing our process for competition research to identify leaders in your industry and assess their digital strategies to ensure that your website positions you similarly. This will include keyword analysis and design aspects. The output of this process is both a qualitative and quantitative assessment report we will provide to you and will drive the following development steps. We use GitLab and Microsoft’s Team Foundation Server to centralize the development process. This is where you will go to see the status of tasks we are working on. We believe that transparency of process is a business enabler. Browser testing no longer means attempting to make a website look the same in browsers of different capabilities or on devices with different size screens. It does mean ensuring that a person’s experience of a design should be appropriate to the capabilities of a browser or device. We test our work in current versions of major desktop browsers including those made by Apple (Safari), Google (Chrome), Microsoft (Internet Explorer), and Mozilla Firefox. We’ll also test to ensure Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 for Windows users get an appropriate, possibly different, experience. We’ll implement a single column design for Internet Explorer 8 and below for Windows but we won’t test in other older browsers unless a Client specifies otherwise. If a Client needs an enhanced design for an older browser, we can provide a separate estimate for that.
